Pas Croisés - Ballets de Monte-Carlo

Dance at the Marc Chagall Museum - Pas Croisés
a creation of the Ballets de Monte-Carlo, with Mimoza Koïke

Dance performance, a unique performance
on Friday, May 22nd 2020, at 8:00 pm

Due to the exceptional health crisis in recent months, this performance is cancelled and postponed to a later date. Thank you for your understanding.

In the meantime, the dancers of the Ballets de Monte-Carlo have prepared a surprise in music and video...

"As we slowly emerge from confinement, we have realized that dance is an art unlike any other.
Movement needs flesh and space to exist.
To reduce the space for a dancer Is to deprive them of their body, for an apartment can never be a stage and a wall can never be a partner.

The company of Les Ballets de Monte Carlo resumes the path to the Atelier and hopes to see you again very soon."

Music : Antonio Castrignianò & Taranta Sounds

The danced performances proposed by Mimoza Koïke, a dancer with the Ballets de Monte-Carlo, are an opportunity to cross dance and other artistic disciplines in a light format that makes the works of art dialogue with the body in movement. This form of dance dissemination is part of a common desire of the Ballets de Monte-Carlo and the national Museums of 20th Century of the Alpes-Maritimes to offer proposals that give back to the performing arts the meaning of a performance art.
