NEW VISITING CONDITIONS

logo vigipirate sécurité renforcée

The VIGIPIRATE plan has been upgraded to the "Enhanced Security - Attack Risk" level for the whole of France, as of 21 June 2021.

Following the recent attacks, and in order to ensure the safety of visitors, the Marc Chagall National Museum applies the preventive measures decided by the government for public administrations. For more information on the measures established by the French government, click here

We therefore do not offer a cloakroom service. Only backpacks, measuring no more than 20 x 25 x 40 cm, are allowed in the museum.
We recommend that you do not bring suitcases or large bags into the museum as they are not permitted. Your bags and personal belongings will be systematically searched at the entrance of the museum.

Due to the current sanitary conditions, and to the circulation in the exhibition, the size of the guided tours is reduced and is subject to change. However, it is possible to split the group into two sub-groups by alternating a self-guided tour and a guided tour or two guided tours at the same time (depending on the availability of our guide-lecturers), at no extra cost.

In addition, we invite you to take note of the conditions of the current visits to the museum relating to the spread of covid-19. This will allow you to organise your visit as well as possible.

The entire team of the Marc Chagall National Museum thanks its visitors in advance for their attention and cooperation.
