Mediation around the work of Bella Meyer - Participatory Floral Sculpture
Friday, July 7th, Saturday, July 8th, and Sunday July 9th, from 10 am to 12 pm
in the museum garden
The public is invited to participate in Bella Meyer's floral artwork: everyone can hang a flower or bouquet on the sculpture and add a message. Accompanied by a guide, visitors are invited to discover the colors, bouquets, and the concept of offering present in Marc Chagall's work.

Cyanotype Workshop
Friday, July 7th, from 10 am to 12 am
The workshop offers the opportunity to create a floral composition using the cyanotype technique, an ancient photographic process that produces a negative monochrome. It is characterized by its blue color, Chagall's favorite color!

Treasure Hunt
Saturday, July 8th, from 2 pm to 6 pm
Come and discover the garden, its trees, and its flowers, alongside the museum's collection. Accompanied by a speaker, visitors are invited to identify the plants in Marc Chagall's artworks and then draw them in a sketchbook. Once the sketchbook is completed, the speaker will try to help the children guess a magical phrase displayed in the museum...

Painting Workshop, Around the Circus
Saturday, July 8th, and Sunday, July 9th, from 2 pm to 6 pm
Gathered around a round table with a rotating sheet reminiscent of the circus ring, children will have the opportunity to paint characters and animals inspired by the circus. Paying homage to the participatory workshops of Piste d'Azur and the acrobats of Marc Chagall, children will be able to create their own circus universe with a burst of colors.

Family Storytelling and Sensory Tour
Sunday, July 9th, at 2 pm and 4 pm
A tale to immerse yourself in the world of Marc Chagall's paintings, where children can also engage their senses and experience various scents.
Duration: 30 minutes.

The festive weekend is an event organized by the Marc Chagall National Museum and the Friends of the Chagall Museum Association.
The museum is open every day except Tuesdays, from May 2nd to October 31st, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
From Friday, July 7th to Sunday, July 9th, 2023, the activities offered during the festive weekend, celebrating the museum's 50th anniversary, are free for everyone.
