Discovery workshops of circus practices - for families
On July 7, 1973, the national museum dedicated to the works of Marc Chagall opened in Nice. Marc Chagall himself was born on July 7, 1887, in Vitebsk, Belarus. The Friends of the Museum association was born alongside the museum. It has always celebrated these two anniversaries, and this year in 2023, even more so, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary!
On this occasion, the Chagall Museum is partnering with Piste d'Azur, the Regional Center for Circus Arts in PACA (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur), to offer multi-activity workshops (balance games, juggling, aerial trapeze, slackline, etc.) for two afternoons. These workshops will be accessible to everyone, creating a festive and family-friendly atmosphere in the gardens of the museum.
A cette occasion, le musée Chagall s'associe avec Piste d'Azur, Centre régional des Arts du Cirque en PACA, pour offrir le temps de deux après-midis des ateliers multi-activités (jeux d’équilibre, jonglerie, trapèze aérien, slackline…) accessibles à tous, dans une ambiance festive et familiale au cœur des jardins du musée.
Suitable for ages 4 and up.
Workshops will be offered continuously from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Free access, no registration required.

The festive weekend is an event organized by the Marc Chagall National Museum and the Friends of the Chagall Museum Association.
The museum is open every day, except on Tuesdays, from May 2nd to October 31st, from 10 am to 6 pm.
From Friday, July 7th to Sunday, July 9th, 2023, the activities offered during the festive weekend, celebrating the museum's 50th anniversary, are free for everyone.
