Le Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de la Ville de Nice - Pierre Cochereau
Founded in 1916 by pianist Adeline Bailet, Nice's Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional Pierre Cochereau celebrated its centenary in 2015. Headed by Thierry Muller since 2016, the establishment, located in the superb new building on avenue Brancolar, is today recognized for the excellence of its artistic teaching in Music, Dance and Theatre, which places it in the top group of Conservatoires in France.

Every year, it trains a large number of nationally and even internationally renowned soloists, dancers and actors. It has also developed a bachelor's degree program in partnership with the Université Côte d'Azur, of which it is now a member. It is a driving force in the artistic life of its region and city, thanks to collaborations with other prestigious artistic establishments and regional higher education institutions. It also shines abroad, continuing to forge close links and share talent and knowledge with other centers of higher learning.
