March at the Museums, 25th edition

Je suis en scène (I am on stage) examines how individuals express themselves, present themselves and transform themselves when they become both the subject and object of their own representation. At the heart of the Chagall Museum, the works on display explore representation, performance, the body and identity as stages for performance.

2.30pm: opening of the event: Speech
2.45pm-3.15pm: Theatre: Encorporer, theatre scene by the Collectif Télescope
Four street performers search in vain for their reflection. Erased, they refuse to be polished, invisible and silent. Step by step, their identities take shape as they compose the mirrored image.
Location: auditorium

From 3:30pm to 5pm: Choreographic performance: Le reflet d'eau (The Reflection of Water), dance scene by Elsa De Ponnat
The reflection of Chagall's work, The Prophet Elijah, comes to life in the form of a dancer. Elsa De Ponnat offers a reinterpretation of Chagall's reflection in water and his work.
Location: Mosaic Room

From 4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.: Meditations: The colours of Chagall, discussion scene
Discover the history of Chagall and colour through the meditations of students in cultural mediation from the Master 1 EMIC programme. A reinterpretation of works that deal with colour in painting, theatre and the art of staging.
Location: Permanent and temporary exhibition room

From 3pm to 5.30pm: Colourimetry workshop: The art of staging through colour by Charlène Conseil en Image
