The 21st edition of the European Museum Night, organized by the French Ministry of Culture, will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025. A not-to-be-missed event, it enables the public, of all ages and backgrounds, to visit over 3,000 museums in France and Europe free of charge, in the evening and in a festive atmosphere.
Since its launch in 2005, European Museum Night has attracted large numbers of visitors to a growing number of museums every year. Its success with young audiences has been confirmed.
On this occasion, the teams at the Musée National Pablo Picasso and the Musée Magnelli are offering:
Torchlight tours of Pablo Picasso's War and Peace

Discover Picasso's monumental work, War and Peace, in an original way. Plunged into the dark, equipped with a flashlight, you'll be able to see this painting differently!

A class from the commune is invited to work around a work from the museum throughout the year. This encounter gives rise to multiple plastic creations. In 2025, a CM1 class had the pleasure of studying the work of Alberto Magnelli, and more specifically how the artist played with the space of his canvases. They will lead a guided tour of the painter's collection and stage their own creations.

Young and old alike are invited to discover the artist's ceramics and experiment with plastic clay work. Like Jean Derval, everyone can decorate their own model.

The museum is open throughout the year every day except Tuesday: from 10am to 12:15pm and from 2pm to 5pm.
