Accrorap Company / Kader Attou: creation PRELUDE
As a prelude to the arrival of Compagnie Accrorap in the South of France, choreographer Kader Attou has invited a dozen professional hip hop dancers from the region to take part in his artistic universe. The aim of this "all-terrain" piece is to reach out to all audiences, taking hip hop dance to places where it is least expected, to the frontiers of choreographic writing, to forge links between local players and artists.

Le Scribe Company / Adel El Shafey: creation GAME OF DANCE
"I intend to confront my choreographic universe with a soundtrack taken from Bruce Lee's film Game of Death. The soundtrack to this martial arts film is made up of the sounds of blows and impacts against a background of piercing screams, a form of artificial violence that I plan to divert with a play that is both corporeal and symbolic. Hylel Company / Marina Gomes: creation ASMANTI Midi-Minuit
Compagnie Hylel invites audiences to immerse themselves in a group of young people, in the neighborhood, on the ground. Without compromise, Marina Gomes borrows aesthetic references from street culture, rap and cinema, as the starting point for a contemporary choreographic style that goes beyond hip hop codes. Based on real-life situations, she writes a dance where the energy of the body mingles with that of the voice, where the nonchalance of the gait and the theatricality of attitudes - from laughter to violence - become choreography. Marina Gomes has imagined this piece as a long sequence shot, from midday to midnight, a metaphor for a temporality in which light fades as tension mounts.

The Mosaic Tour, initiated by the Région Sud and supported by its cultural operator Arsud, offers free open-air performances by regional companies and artistic ensembles. For its 4th edition, the Mosaic Tour takes to the roads of towns and villages in the six départements of the Sud region. During the summer of 2023, all disciplines of the performing arts will be represented, breaking away from the conventional indoor format to meet audiences in the heart of the region's cultural heritage.
