The National Museum Pablo Picasso, War and Peace, is pleased to welcome you to the 19th edition of the European Night of Museums!
On the agenda: creative workshops and nocturnal visits. All these events are free, with on-site registration on the evening.
The Class, the Artwork!
A class from the local community is invited to work on an artwork from the museum throughout the year. This encounter leads to multiple artistic creations. In 2023, a 4th-grade class had the pleasure of studying the work of Alberto Magnelli and the evolution of his art from his early years to the end of his career. They will conduct a guided tour of the painter's collection and also showcase their own creations in the exhibition. Starting at 5:00 PM

Family Workshop
Children and adults are invited to discover the exhibition and experiment with working with clay. Like Picasso, everyone will have the opportunity to decorate their own sculpture. Starting at 7pm

Guided tour of the exhibition
The exhibition Forms & Metamorphoses: Picasso's Ceramic Creation offers a revisiting of Picasso's formal and artistic explorations through loans from private collectors and public institutions. It showcases how Picasso embraced ceramics as a medium of full-fledged expression.
The guided tour, led by Céline Graziani, the museum director, invites you to discover how Picasso utilized the codes of ceramics to revolutionize this millennia-old art form. To learn more about the exhibition, click here. Starting at 8pm

Torchlight tour of Pablo Picasso's Chapel of War and Peace
Embark on a unique journey to explore Picasso's monumental work,War and Peace, in a whole new light. Immerse yourself in darkness, equipped with an electric torch, and behold this painting in a different way! Starting from 9:15 PM
