Public with disabilities
The Fernand Léger National Museum supports visitors with disabilities for both guided or self-guided tours of its collections, as well as for educational partnership projects.
Various mediation tools and devices, adapted to different types of disabilities, are offered by our team of specialized guides and lecturers. These include sign language video guides (French/English), a materials library, and 3D reproductions of artworks.

Prices / Duration
Admission to the museum is free for you and your companion, upon presentation of the Mobilité Inclusion card (CMI) with the mention "Disability" and the sub-mention “Need for Assistance - Blindness” (or equivalent if from abroad); or the mention “Priority.”
You also benefit from a reduced rate for individual guided tours and a specific "Social Sector" rate for groups.
The average duration of the visit is between 1 hour and 1.5 hours.

NOUVEAUTE : Une salle du musée national Fernand Léger est dédiée à la découverte de matériaux tactiles. Venez découvrir un ensemble de supports tactiles nouvellement créés et toucher les différentes pâtes de verre et pierres des mosaïques présentées dans cet espace. Vous pourrez également appréhender la matière des céramiques exposées.
Conçue pour un public déficient visuel mais aussi adapté pour tout public, cette salle présente de manière ludique l'histoire de la décoration monumentale réalisée pour la façade principale du musée en 1960.
Ces supports tactiles peuvent être découverts en visite libre ou avec une conférencière spécialisée en médiation pour le public en situation de handicap.

TACTILE MEDIA at the Fernand Léger Museum
The Materials Library
A room at the Fernand Léger National Museum is dedicated to the discovery of tactile materials. Glass pastes, mosaic tesserae, and ceramic decorations allow visitors to explore through touch the composition of the museum's monumental and colorful façade.
These tactile resources are available for self-guided visits or with a specialized lecturer in mediation for visitors with disabilities.
This initiative was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Léonard de Vinci High School in Antibes.
Tactile adaptation: La Femme aux cheveux noirs (The Woman with Black Hair) by Fernand Léger
As part of its efforts to engage underserved audiences (people with visual impairments), the Fernand Léger National Museum has created a tactile adaptation of one of Fernand Léger’s works, La Femme aux cheveux noirs (The Woman with Black Hair). People with visual impairments will be able to explore this tactile resource and participate in the museum's educational workshop. The visit can also continue with the discovery of monumental works in the museum's gardens.
NEW VISITING CONDITIONS
The VIGIPIRATE Plan is currently at the "Attack Alert" level across the entire national territory.
Following the attack on October 13, 2023, in Arras and the recent events in the Middle East, the VIGIPIRATE plan has been raised to the "Attack Alert" level across the entire national territory. Please consult the measures established by the French government.

We do not offer a cloakroom service. Only backpacks, measuring no more than 20 x 25 x 40 cm, are allowed in the museum.
We recommend that you do not bring suitcases or large bags into the museum as they are not allowed.
Your bags and personal belongings will be systematically searched at the entrance of the museum.
