Cirque en folie(s) !
Introduction to circus arts for all
"Go to the circus. Nothing is as round as the circus (...)", Fernand Léger
For this second rendezvous of 2024, the Piste d'Azur team will be offering the public introductory discovery workshops in various circus disciplines accessible to all, to be enjoyed with the whole family:
- juggling (balls, rings, scarf, diabolo, ...)
- balancing (on ball, American roller, wire, unicycles)
- aerial (fabric, hoop, trapeze, ...)
Adults and children alike will be invited to take part in all these workshops, with free access throughout the afternoon, accompanied by qualified animators and set to music by the merry, boisterous rhythm of the Fanfoire.
The Fernand Léger national Museum offers a cultural program focused on the circus arts. In contact with the museum's collections and spaces, circus and movement artists are given free rein to reinvent the writings and forms of this artistic discipline, celebrated by Fernand Léger for its poetry and commitment to the world.
