Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Marc Chagall by exploring the permanent collection and the ongoing exhibition De verre et de pierre. Chagall en mosaique, dedicated to the mosaic works of Marc Chagall.

For the first time, the museum is presenting a complete overview of the fourteen mosaic projects created by Marc Chagall, through numerous works and archive documents. Sketches and models illustrate the artist's research and creative process. Drawn from private collections and international institutions, the works are highlighted by an immersive scenography, with large-format photographs and tactile and interactive displays designed to help visitors discover this age-old technique. Following the recent attacks, and to ensure the safety of visitors, the Marc Chagall National Museum is applying the preventive measures decided by the government for public administrations. For more information on the measures established by the French government, click here

We therefore do not offer cloakroom services. Only backpacks, with a maximum size of 20 x 25 x 40 cm, are allowed in the museum. Suitcases and large bags are prohibited. Your bags and personal belongings will be systematically searched on entering the museum.
