Concert of Proxima Centauri, A clearing anyway
A co-production of the CIRM and the 20th Century National Museums of the Alpes-Maritimes
The Proxima Centauri Ensemble is taking over the Marc Chagall National Museum for a concert, in partnership with the CIRM. This is an opportunity to explore the dialogue between voice and electronics, two mediums that evoke a mixture of the real and the unreal. A phantasmagorical journey into our dreams, History, legends and universe.
Proxima Centauri is a musical ensemble that challenges the codes of chamber music by integrating electroacoustics as an integral part of the composition. For thirty years, Proxima Centauri has collaborated with many artists, other musicians, performers or improvisers, but also dancers or visual artists. Thus, the ensemble has a multidisciplinary artistic approach, combining musical creation and visual arts. For more information, click here
