Carte blanche to the students of the Nice Music Conservatory !

school year 2021-2022
Saturday, 22 January 2022, from 3pm to 5pm
Musée national Marc Chagall

During six Saturday afternoons, students from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional Pierre Cochereau, from all cycles and different musical formations, will perform in the auditorium of the Musée national Marc Chagall in Nice. These "cartes blanches" have a pedagogical aim, allowing the students to practice in a prestigious place, dedicated to living creation, and to confront themselves with a new audience.

The Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de la Ville de Nice - Pierre Cochereau

Founded in 1916 by the pianist Adeline Bailet, the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional Pierre Cochereau of Nice celebrated its centenary in 2015. Directed by Thierry Muller since 2016, the establishment, located in the superb and recent building on Avenue Brancolar, is today recognised for the excellence of its artistic teaching in Music, Dance and Theatre, which places it in the top group of French conservatories. Every year it trains a large number of nationally and even internationally renowned soloists, dancers and actors. It has also developed a degree course in partnership with the Université Côte d'Azur, of which it is now a member. It animates the artistic life of its region and its city thanks to collaborations with other prestigious artistic establishments and regional higher education institutions. It also has an international influence, continuing to forge close links and share talent and knowledge with other centres of higher education.
