IMI KNOEBEL - FERNAND LEGER. A encounter
Exhibition extended until 3 April 2017!
A student of Joseph Beuys in Düsseldorf, Imi Knoebel is one of the greatest representatives of abstract painting in Germany. The colour subtly used on various supports such as wood, aluminium or stained glass, plays with space as in the case of the stained glass windows of the cathedral of Reims.
For Biot, Imi Knoebel has created 9 new works that enter into dialogue with Fernand Léger's ceramics.
